I think we need a little fluff :)

1. Have you/Will you decorate(d) for the fall?

2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet?

3. What is one food (or drink) that you look forward to when the weather gets cooler?

Bonus (it was a discussion at work yesterday and wondered others opinions):
4. If you were able to have an inheritance for your children (or maybe you have already experienced this with your own family), and you were able to live comfortably and was not relying on that money to survive, would you rather spend the money while you are alive and watch your children enjoy the money now or would you rather have it given to them when you died?

LOL, taxi driver. i so know what you mean and agree..a little OT but NYC was like this too, we spent a whole day just sight seeing, we couldn't decide if we wanted to take a subway or the taxi, we compromised and took a taxi to the park then returned on the subway..that taxi driver was a hoot, loved every minute of it all.

i can't form these kinds of judgements..i had all these preconceived notions of what disney was going to be like, whne we got there i was delightfully surprised by all it was not, people there from all over the world, getting drawn into experienes and shows that i did not read up on, etc..if money is tight, that's one thing, but to determine a destination by only things you're going to expect or like there is something i can't base vacationing on.

Honestly, most of those do not appeal to me. I don't like to shop. Watching pool games? Really? I had my share of parades growing up. I oppose straight exercise on vacation because I am usually getting enough walking around a city and seeing the sites. We tend to walk 5-10 miles day when we are touring a city. Despite eating more, I tend to lose weight (not much) on vacation.

"Vacations and traveling are experiences, something you can never take away from someone.

I would like to go to India before I take a cruise. I would like to tour southern Spain and Northern Morocco before I take a cruise. I would like to go to the Great Barrier Reef and New Zealand before I take a cruise. I want to go to Romania before I take a cruise. I want to go to Beliz and Guatamala before I take a cruise. I want to go to Peru and Chili before I take a cruise. I want to go to Hawaii, Wisconsin, Nevada and then take my first cruise to Alaska. then I will have visited all 50 states.... DH is far ahead of me, he has been to 6 continents.

Why do you keep returning to the Caribbean cruises? Why not expand your horizons and take a European cruise or an Alaskan cruise or a South American Cruise? Try something new and exciting?

My parents went to Alaska a couple of years ago. They absolutely loved it. They got to go on one of those little airplanes around Denali and landed on a glacier. They also planned to go on a whale watching boat ride. Unfortunately, the water was too rough and they had to turn back. It all sounded really fabulous. The thing that surprised me most about their pictures were the incredibly huge and abundant flowers they saw. I'd love to go there some day myself.

How do you know if you have never been there?
