I think we need a little fluff :)
1. Have you/Will you decorate(d) for the fall?
2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet?
3. What is one food (or drink) that you look forward to when the weather gets cooler?
Bonus (it was a discussion at work yesterday and wondered others opinions):
4. If you were able to have an inheritance for your children (or maybe you have already experienced this with your own family), and you were able to live comfortably and was not relying on that money to survive, would you rather spend the money while you are alive and watch your children enjoy the money now or would you rather have it given to them when you died?

Yes, you should still do your research. For someone who is a drinker and racks up drink bills of $1,500 on a cruise (yes, I know some people like that :-0), an all-inclusive with drinks included might save them money.

Laying on the beach is pretty much the same as laying on the beach here at home, except it is nicer than most beaches-lol!!
We like to walk cities and get to get a feel for them. We like to seek out places to eat where the locals eat- rather than the masses. We like to grocery shop where the locals grocery shop. We like to stay in flats or smaller inns/b&bs. We seem to alternate between a city vacation and an outdoor mountain vacation. We like to hike to views and swim in local watering holes. We like to concentrate on one area rather than "If it is Tuesday, this must be Brussels", kind of vacation. In the cities, we like to go the the science museums and natural history or archaeology museums. We don't do the art museums or church/cathedrals as much.
As a result, my kids have been to the science museums in Boston, Hartford, Philly, NY, London, Paris. This spring break we will go to several in Chicago. Last year we discovered a fantastic maze where the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany meet. We loved going to the Prime Meridian, it involved a nice tour up? (down?) the Thames, and nice walk up the hill to the Observatory and then a Pub lunch.
My dad passed and it is just my mom. She does not have to worry about finances and she is still working and has no plans to quit anytime soon (at least this week-lol!!).
