I think we need a little fluff :)

1. Have you/Will you decorate(d) for the fall?

2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet?

3. What is one food (or drink) that you look forward to when the weather gets cooler?

Bonus (it was a discussion at work yesterday and wondered others opinions):
4. If you were able to have an inheritance for your children (or maybe you have already experienced this with your own family), and you were able to live comfortably and was not relying on that money to survive, would you rather spend the money while you are alive and watch your children enjoy the money now or would you rather have it given to them when you died?

Sigh, that doesn't mean others must or should like to get meals out that they have routinely at home.

I'd rather be closer to Russia than to her.

Actually, it is possible to get tickets to a spring training game w/o advanced planning. Obviously, it probably works better into your itinerary if you do get them in advance, but we were able to get them for a Nats vs. Orioles game w/no advance purchase. We actually saw them play at Space Coast Stadium which is so far from everything I think that's why it was easy to get tickets! It was a spur of the moment decision while we were in Orlando (not going to Disney, LOL). I think we were one of the few families who went to Orlando w/no intention of getting to Disney. Instead we went to SeaWorld and Aquatica. We were staying right up the street from Discovery Cove but didn't go there. We'd already swam w/dolphins in Hawaii and didn't have time to work it in to trip. Glad you enjoyed it though. I'd definitely go there if we are ever back in Orlando.

Here are some of the perfectvacation days that stick in my mind: Wake up to a nice English breakfast, stroll over to the National Gallery on Trafalgar Square, see just enough art to make me happy but not enough to satiate, head down past houses of Parliament to Westminster Abbey but don't go in becaise still in a snit about the closure of the medieval royal tombs, walk back up to the strand and over to pick up half priceticket to Les Mis at the Leicester Square booth, past Picadilly Circus for Old Times sake quick dive into pub for hunch and a half pint, quick trip into St Paul's to gape for a moment and go behind to see John Wesley's tomb, up to British Museum to see new medieval rooms, then walk long way up to John Wesley's house and parish church, bus back tto hotel for a cuppa and chance to put feet up. Up to Covent Garden for a takeout meal carried down to Thames Embankment to eat, theatre then back to hotel for evening.

OR...wake up in cabin nin Bar Harbor with DH,, kids in next door cabin....smile at DH....use your imagination for next half hour. Cook breakfast eaten on picnic table in front of the cabins....kids play in harbor for an hour or so while I read and piddle....over to catch boat for two hour whale watching cruise, lunch in town then drive around island....come across nice little atists colony....give kids money for ice cream and tourisy crap which will surely invovle some form of moose poop while DH and I visit galleries for awhile. Come home, DH naps while I watch kids swim, go out to dinner for lobster, hike around in woods until it gets too dark, back to cabins. Pour drinks and watch kids play flashlight ag with new friends from adjoining cabins....bed...

Not to be too nit-picky, but mahi mahi is not the Hawaiian word for dolphin. Mahi actually means strong so technically it is "strong strong," but is used to refer to dolphin fish. Of course, mahi mahi is not actually dolphin anyway which is kind of confusing!

Next you are going to be trying to tell me that Alaska is not actually cold all year long.

Yes, you are right. I meant to post to you - I don't know how that happened.

No, I have never been to Bermuda and really don't have any desire at this point. It's not on my list of places I really want to see before I die. Not that I don't think I'd like it necessarily, just that it's not a destination I'd specifically plan to go to as there are many other places I'd rather go.

Sorry, that was misposted somehow. It was meant to be in response to Harvard, not you!
