I think we need a little fluff :)

1. Have you/Will you decorate(d) for the fall?

2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet?

3. What is one food (or drink) that you look forward to when the weather gets cooler?

Bonus (it was a discussion at work yesterday and wondered others opinions):
4. If you were able to have an inheritance for your children (or maybe you have already experienced this with your own family), and you were able to live comfortably and was not relying on that money to survive, would you rather spend the money while you are alive and watch your children enjoy the money now or would you rather have it given to them when you died?

The meal plan is extra at Disney. When it is free, you get that money back on your bill. I think it cost about $700 for 4 people for 5 nights last time.

This would be the breakdown (one quick service meal, one table service and one snack per day).

That is $35/pp per day. Dinner alone was costing us about $30/pp if we paid (you get the bill so you see how much it would have cost). Then we used the quick service for lunch and a snack usually in the afternoon. Even if we did pay, we would have saved money.

The cost to walk into one park per day for 4 people is now $300.

How would you travel 8-10 hours on a plane though as you mentioned before?

I might find something that I could eat, but I might not find what I WANT to eat.

This originally wasn't even about me, it was about why people might prefer to cook their own meals as opposed to eating out. Personally, I do prefer to eat out on vacation, but even still I have had experiences where it has been nearly impossible for me to find something that I could eat and where in my own case I was taking risks because I didn't know all the details about what was being served...even though I'd asked. There are all kinds of reasons why someone might prefer to prepare their own food. I don't understand why that's such a puzzle.

I'm trying to think of any reason why I would NOT find a cruise fun. Food, games, entertainment, seeing new places, no chores - sounds good to me!

and mingling with 1000s of people

To tell you the truth, you usually pass and see the same people all the time-lol!! We have met friends whom we still speak to. My dh is very social so it is not hard for him to make friends at all. We enjoy to do all the adult shows and games and get involved. We (dh alot of the time more than me-lol!!) do not sit back and just watch, we get involved.

Because of health issue it is very hard for my DH to eat out. It is ok for an occasional meal but not for multiple meals in a day or week. Whenever we travel we get a place with microwave and frig and eat most of our meals in.

I can always find something I like. That doesn't mean I'm getting what I want, or achieveing my culinary goals.
