I think we need a little fluff :)

1. Have you/Will you decorate(d) for the fall?

2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet?

3. What is one food (or drink) that you look forward to when the weather gets cooler?

Bonus (it was a discussion at work yesterday and wondered others opinions):
4. If you were able to have an inheritance for your children (or maybe you have already experienced this with your own family), and you were able to live comfortably and was not relying on that money to survive, would you rather spend the money while you are alive and watch your children enjoy the money now or would you rather have it given to them when you died?

I won't spend a ton of money to try something new.

With a larger family I would see needing to do that.

It's especially important when you have a preteen and teen boy. They eat enormous amounts of food. When we went to NYC last month, we stayed in a two bedroom hotel with a kitchen. We brought cereal, fruit, snacks, drinks, milk, and appetizer type food. They had fruit and cereal for breakfast and after dinner snack.

We did go out for lunch and dinner. Lunch at Yankee Stadium was better than I thought it would be, but expensive. Dinner in Chinatown was fabulous and inexpensive.

LOL, now you are reminding me of a story someone told me about my dads. Apparently when they were young and really poor, they would buy a loaf of dark rye (keeps well), then get in the car and take off on a trip down through Europe. They slept in the car and lived off the rye bread. My father also became famous among his students for being able to squeeze himself into the luggage rack on a 3rd class train in India to go to sleep.

When we were kids, we were not allowed to take more than 2-3 changes of clothes. Our things had to fit in a small carry-on. We were expected to wash our clothes in the hotel sinks along the way.

what I liked about our kitchen was we used it just enough for coffee, breakfast, snacks, waters, wine (lots of wine) etc.. that between that and the amazing deal we got on the condo we felt we could splurge on a few special dinners -- the day we were in Epcot we just snacked our way around the world :-)

but it made the $$ we spent on BOMA and the Spirit of Aloha show not quite so painful -- we had stuff delivered from Garden grocer -a case of water, snacks, coffe, cereal, bagels, cream cheese, peanut butter, we'd freeze three water bottles each night - take one cold and one frozen one each - worked out great - we never had to spend park money on bottled water which was nice.

did you go to Pier 37 at Downtown Disney? we LOVED our meal there -- 37kinds of tequila! Isn't Ghiradellis the best? mmmmm!

our week at our beach house last summer was the bEST -- we'd eat breakfast -- hit the beach- walk home for lunch - shower off in the outdoor shower, throw the towels in the dyer - eat - and go back to the beach. We ate out for three dinners but the rest of the time -- why leave paradise? I would love to rent that house again!
