I think we need a little fluff :)

1. Have you/Will you decorate(d) for the fall?

2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet?

3. What is one food (or drink) that you look forward to when the weather gets cooler?

Bonus (it was a discussion at work yesterday and wondered others opinions):
4. If you were able to have an inheritance for your children (or maybe you have already experienced this with your own family), and you were able to live comfortably and was not relying on that money to survive, would you rather spend the money while you are alive and watch your children enjoy the money now or would you rather have it given to them when you died?

in Florida we bought those purell sheets that are all in one detergent and drier sheet - we'd come home from a park - throw a load in teh wash - hit the pool - come in, shower change- throw it in the drier and head back to a park or to dinner- same at the beach last summer- I never felt I was 'doing' laundry - but it sure was nice to pack less stuff and come home with a suitcase full of clean clothes. We did lots of 'mini loads' never felt burdensome at all

When I was in my twenties I spent two months travelling through Europe with one change of clothes pajama pants and two t-shirts. I would wash out the dress I wore during the day when I got back to the hotel room and wear the other one the next day. I bought a few souvenir scarves along the way to accessorize and I thought I was quite clever. There is something quite liberating about only having a very few possessions to worry about.

I haven't tried those yet. I have a hard enough time finding time to put away the clothes from the suitcases let alone do a load or 2. Lol

That is the most important to me, coffee and breakfast. It is so nice not to have to get dressed and fixed up etc just to get your morning coffee. All the more so if you have a small child or several of them along.

but seriously we were never there while it was going - we designated a bag for laundry - my dd threw her stuff in , we threw our stuff in- and we'd throw in a load and leave - it took no time at all - especially with all three of us sharing who woudl throw it in and who would put it away. My dd is perfectly capable of doing a load or two herself. we had the purell sheets delivered as part of our garden grocer order

Yep, it does have its advantages, and I am glad my parents taught me how it is done. When dd was small I ended up spending 6 months in Europe with a small backpack for each of us. It was fine. I had a pair of black jeans, a black dress, 2 white Ts, some underwear and 2-3 other things.

I was really pleased when we went to Disney that the girl said she wanted to pack for her self - she put everything out she wanted to bring - stepped back- pulled out a bunch of stuff and said "I won't need this" showed me how she could mix and match the stuff - then got it all in her teeny suitcase.

I may not have done many things right as a mom but by gum that kid can pack a suitcase!
