I think we need a little fluff :)

1. Have you/Will you decorate(d) for the fall?

2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet?

3. What is one food (or drink) that you look forward to when the weather gets cooler?

Bonus (it was a discussion at work yesterday and wondered others opinions):
4. If you were able to have an inheritance for your children (or maybe you have already experienced this with your own family), and you were able to live comfortably and was not relying on that money to survive, would you rather spend the money while you are alive and watch your children enjoy the money now or would you rather have it given to them when you died?

my mom taught me how to pack in layers, pack socks inside of shoes, use undies to fill spaces in the layers. We have it down to a science.

I'm going away for 11 days next month and if I can't fit it in a suitcase that fits in the overhead, I'm doing it wrong. Business casual for 6 days of work, and one dress up event and 3 pairs of shoes total. As a former road warrior, I am really good at packing but this will be a challenge.

I may buy something there. What a sacrifice!

I like to explore. There are so many things to do on our vacations that I don't want to miss anything.

I usually take a navy and charcoal skirt, three blouses, a jacket, a cardigan, and one pair of dress shoes. I am appropriately dressed and can't believe there are people there keeping track of the fact that I wore the same skirt on Friday as I did on Sunday, particularly if the blouses are completely different. I also like to bring a pair of nice slacks to wear for sightseeing or the plane trips.

Room service is one of those things I have never yet been able to bring myself to spend money on.

my motto (at work and on vacation) is " bring enough different tops and no one will notice you wore the same pair of pants 2 or 3 times in a week.

and honestly if they did notice then bully for them - I guess they get a point on their scorecard or something LOL. One reason I like doing laundry on vacation is I can wear my favorite stuff more than once!

Why bother going on vacation if you are not going to go out?
My kids usually get their own breakfast everyday anyway and we rarely have breakfast together so it is nice to do it on vacation.

I think it all depends on the vacation. We have 2 formal nights so my dh will bring a suit with different shirts and ties and I will bring 2 fancy dresses. Which also means I have to bring dressy shoes also on top of my flip flops, sandals, sneakers and water shoes. Kids also dress up too so some outfits and shoes for them too.

Only once have I ever brought myself to order room service for that same reason. But I spent 3 months in Europe without cooking.
