1. I don't think I have a decorating style. I like things to look warm & comfortable. I like antiques (but not the upholstered stuff), so maybe a mix of styles. I don't like the really modern/contemporary stuff. 2. I don't think I have a favorite store. I won't shop at Walmart. 3. In the last 25 years, I've lived in 4 houses. During the college/law school years, too many to count. 4. I got a promotion and a big raise this year, and I now think I am paid enough. 5. Cheerios

i'm laughing a little at number four, i had these wild dreams as a child that i would be a famous artist in NYC. i didn't make it that far but there are other goals i created as a child that i am happily living!

IMHO, "coordinating" is highly overrated, especially when it comes to interiors. Your house shows that you appreciate quality and what you have expresses the personalities of you and your dh, which is what makes it nice.

i inherited my grandmother's dining room table, its this liqueur (sp) finish 1950s drop leaf table. i don't use it as a d/r table but it is an accent table in my house that i place pictures on.

it sounds like you love your job, a friend of mine is a freelance writer too and her blogs alone are amazing to read. some of her stuff has appeared in books like, chicken soup for the soul.

Here is the memory foam rug. It says $14.99 on here but the ad this week says $17.99 because you have to pay shipping under $50.

Here is the chair you mentioned. Looks like something I have in my trunk that I drive around with in case we are going someplace on a field or a beach :) Edited to say that I did see other ones that have more of a cushion to them that you can use at home-lol.

you're right about number four, it is subjective. to flip it, i am satisfied with what my role affords me and my family.
