1. Do you have any tattoos?

2. What was the last thing you bought?

3. Would you rather be behind the camera or in front of it?

4. Window or Aisle seat?

5. Have you ever had a poem or song written about you?

I don't think you were supposed to use them. I would think those would go on a dining area that is rarely used or they are taken off the table when eating.

I have fancy towels too in my bathroom-lol!! I only have one bathroom though so the towels we use for the shower get hung up on my railing in the basement.

Cru, the more you talk, the more it is clear you do not understand the nature of a management job. This is te reason I do not watch show like Hoarders.

You don't have to worry about starting a fire. You can leave the house while they are on. It looks just like a real lit candle. I just love the look of them around the house. I only have one on a timer right now but love that I don't have to turn it on or off.

Yep. I think it is the same difference. If you don't care how you look, you most likely don't care how your house looks either.

we could paint. our last rental was a nice two family but i remember this yellow, ugly carpet. there were beautiful hardwoods underneath, the landlord wouldn't consider pulling that and i don't blame him because it was just a rental! but it certainly is that lack of control about a place that owning a house (IME) allows us a freedom to do.

They are not just lights though. They flicker like a real wick in a candle. I am surprised you have never seen them before. I have seen them for years.

The thought of having all this stuff you are not supposed to use, but looks like stuff you are supposed to use is just mind-boggling. My dining room table is a very beautiful wood, so I have no desire to cover it up. I have a pottery bowl it the middle of it, and keep it oiled so it reflects nicely, I have no desire to cover it up with a bunch of geegaws. My kitchen table is not so beatiful, but it is often used in the evening for homework or other projects, so iin between when we clear it after supper until just before I go to bed, we keep it clear. As for the bathroom, if we were not going to hang our used towels on the towel racks, I would not bother installing towel racks; I would just put something attractive on the walls and be done with it.

Having things for show is one thing. Placemats are not so beautiful that they qulaify as decorative items in my mind.

I remember someone saying one time that "So and so has her house just like a model home-uggghh...". I was thinking, OMG..I would LOVE my house to look that neat and organized as a model home-lol!! I think she was a little jealous that she had just spent $25,000 on furniture and that she is not a very good housekeeper. I never thought someone would get offended that someone's home was clean and neat and organized-lol!!
