1. Do you have any tattoos?

2. What was the last thing you bought?

3. Would you rather be behind the camera or in front of it?

4. Window or Aisle seat?

5. Have you ever had a poem or song written about you?

They're usually too frou-frou to me. Too many flowers and such.

I was at the home of one of my employees today. It was very very decorated. Lots of matchy matchy, themey stuff. Lots of things that are only for show and not for practical use. It's beautiful ... but not a house I would be comfortable living in. And, as we've talked about in this thread, she dresses somewhat the same way. Lots of jewelry - probably 4-6 rings each day, chunky necklaces, bracelets, even toe rings. All beautiful. And all fitting her personality. But nothing I would feel comfortable in.

It is not logical to make the comparison of "so little before", when you don't really know what it was before, so no comparison can be made.

But my house doesn't need to be "a little bit nicer"; it is plenty "nice" without taking those extra steps each day.

And, I've been thinking this but haven't said it yet -- We use our bed a lot. On a weekday, I usually sit on it for 5-10 min in the morning before work; then I might sit on it for 5-15 min after work; then before bed, I'll lay/sit on it for another 30min to an hour. All this is before we go to bed. So, if I had all those extra pillows and stuff, I'd be moving them on/off 3-5 times a day. And that's just me. Dh sits on the bed a lot too.

Because there is work to be done, and I'm committed to doing my job very well.

No, ten or twenty years ago I did not have an interior decorator. At that time, we were busy paying off our home, and saving for college and retirement. Once our financial goals were met, we could spend more freely.

Nope examples would be good as I can't think of much you can do in 30 seconds worth not making something better.

Your hourly rate is not less if you work past five (or whatever other arbitrary time you choose) some days but spend the morning getting your boobs squished or the dentist getting your tooth capped other days. It sort of all evens out.

Now it's 30 seconds? Yesterday it was 60.
