1. Do you have any tattoos?

2. What was the last thing you bought?

3. Would you rather be behind the camera or in front of it?

4. Window or Aisle seat?

5. Have you ever had a poem or song written about you?

So why happy about the choice when going away? Wouldn't it be nice to have a choice at home too?

Is this really all that difficult? She likes having a choice when she is away from home because the more choices she has, the more likely she will find one she likes. At home, she already has made a choice of a pillow she likes when she bought the pillow.

Read, watch tv, surf the internet, talk to dh, rest, talk on the phone.

and, because I know it is coming ... I do some of those things in other rooms too.

You could have more than one option as you might be feeling one pillow over another some days.

The choice is nice away from home, because it makes it more likely that the kind of pillow you prefer will be there. For example, my dad always sleeps with a down filled pillow at home. Some hotels only have cotton filled pillows. If a hotel has a couple of kinds of cotton filled pillows and a down pillow, he can use the kind he prefers-- the down one. My mom though, prefers cotton. If the hotel only had down-filled pillows, she couldn't sleep on the kind she prefers. But again, if there's a choice, she can choose the kind she likes-- the cotton filled ones.

Much of my stuff - while affected by and affecting others - is fairly independent. There are lots of things I can do while no one is at the office. In fact, I get more done often when everyone else is gone, as I'm not interrupted by phone calls, email and visitors.

When I pulled together the bedding for ds1 when he switched from a twin bed to a full size bed, I also used sheets that I have had since I was single!

Oh ok. I just don't find the need to do those things during the day in the bedroom. To me going to my bedroom is basically taking me away from my family as that is the place where we go to go to bed, get clothes to get dressed, get dressed and undressed.....
