It must be regional, the vast majority of people I know work more than their "allotted" time.

my bedroom serves two purposes, wink wink, oh, it does serve a third on ocassion, DS still crawls in there sometimes and the girls and i have watched some chick flicks in there too.

We eat ona bare table, well, it has a glass top over the wood, so I guess we are protecting the wood in a different way.
