1. Do you have any tattoos?

2. What was the last thing you bought?

3. Would you rather be behind the camera or in front of it?

4. Window or Aisle seat?

5. Have you ever had a poem or song written about you?

Yes, this.

those who prefer clean/sleek see traditioonal/romantic as cluttered.
It is all a matter of taste."

Towels that are not used as towels, but are there as a prop and placemats that are not to be used as placemats.

Yes, with a glass top, the bare table makes sense.

I think it may be Danish custom. We always had something on the table, if it was wood. In my childhood home we had an oak table with no varnish or anything on the wood. It could be scrubbed with water etc, but we always had mats or a tablecloth at meal times. Later we got a marble table and that we could eat on without covering.

I am just giggling because I have no idea what on earth is meant by "conptemporary," nor any idea why that would be bad.

When my older kids were younger, I kept a table cloth on the table all the time. But I was constantly replacing it, b/c of spills. Then, when we had another baby, it just became too much effort, lol. These days, our dining room is the most used room in the house, from breakfast first thing in the morning, to playdough and art projects, to homework, dinner, and just a place we sit and have conversation. When not in use, we just keep the table clean & clear. It's a nice, durable oak, that will eventually need to be restained, but for now, it looks nice (not excellent, but nice) and it's functional.

I think of "Contemporary", I think of the house on Bewitched.

Ok, so I just unmade the bed for the night. It took me ALL of 40 seconds to take off all 10 pillows, take off the comforter, turn down the sheets and put 3 pillows that we sleep with on. Do you find almost a minute and a half for the entire day too long? lol.

Wow, the time has changed yet again and why is that I'm amused by the mental picture of racing the clock?
