1. Do you have any tattoos?

2. What was the last thing you bought?

3. Would you rather be behind the camera or in front of it?

4. Window or Aisle seat?

5. Have you ever had a poem or song written about you?

Are you serious? In one breath you say that you donate ratty towels, and in the next towels are cheap. Why not donate nice towels...or do the poor only deserve your ratty cast offs?

Yep. My dh "punches the clock" (not technically as it is more advanced now) and he absolutely loves his job and he stays longer hours than I do on salary and not just because he gets OT.

No, that would not be considered clutter unless it it unorganized and just scattered around. You can easily show many things and it would not be or look like clutter.

I was partly raised by my grandmother who would have agreed with She Who Must Be Obeyed that "noticing people's things" was a bit vulgar.

I think people who simply punch the time clock can't fully understand what it means to be invested in their job (or career). In the whole thing, not just the day to day task that are required, but the fully functional, team oriented, there's always a new project on the horizon type of job that requires early mornings, late nights and occassional weekends, but pays off with an enjoyable work atmosphere, pride in a job well done, flexibility, and monitary benefits.

I would agree and I have worked with some over the years who constantly had their eye on the clock and/or making up for the time, thankfully it was never for very long because most jobs that I have worked on require team players.

The poor need cleaning rags, too.

I had the impression that's what she does. I could be mistaken though. If she does, in fact, do this, I wonder... Does the family use those dishes at the next meal or does she wash two sets of dishes after every meal?

But, he wouldn't stay if he didn't get OT right? because that would mean he got paid less.
