1. Do you have any tattoos?

2. What was the last thing you bought?

3. Would you rather be behind the camera or in front of it?

4. Window or Aisle seat?

5. Have you ever had a poem or song written about you?

One of the other things I have learned in the last year or so about high school kids and their sports/clubs/activities is that a day off school doesn't mean a day off for those, it's only a day off of class not the sport/club/activity.

It is such a blessing, I agree.

Yep, during competition season, the band director takes every out-of-school opportunity for additional rehearsals.

That's always when scouts plan things like campouts, lock-ins, daytrips, etc.

No - I've actually been told that I'm not the kind of girl that people write about.

Whoever told you that is the kind of guy who's brain is full of stoooped.

Oh ok. I take off when the kids are off so I have less to do as I don't have to get ready for the day early and if they do choose to see a friend, I would just drop them off or have them dropped off at my house. It is actually a much less stressful day and more relaxing as there is no real "schedule" and "routine" to follow :)

It really is great to have a flexible job. Yesterday my dd got her bottom braces on so I took a half day in the morning and worked in the afternoon. I also take all the holidays (except for winter and spring break where camp is offered for my youngest) that my kids have off. I take 3 full weeks (usually comes to 10-11 days off in a row) a year plus the days here and there they get off. I also do half days, late days for their half days and doctor and dentist appointments.

Sounds like our kids have very different types of schedules...have a nice relaxing couple of days!

Yes, I guess so. My kids are not in sports this season so it is not too bad with the running around for that. No set plans as of yet except for a bday party so I am looking forward to doing what we want, when we want :)
