1. Do you have any tattoos?

2. What was the last thing you bought?

3. Would you rather be behind the camera or in front of it?

4. Window or Aisle seat?

5. Have you ever had a poem or song written about you?

If that's how you want to spend your time, no one is telling you that you shouldn't. It's your home, and it should look how you want it to look. But, that *look* is not appealing to everyone. Is that reaslly so hard to understand?

That is why I keep my bedding for such a long time and don't have to change it.

Lol. It screams something else to me. ;) But I'm with you on the clutter. I don't like a lot of knicknacks--they just clutter up the room as far as I'm concerned. However, I'm married to Mr. Clutter. Our compromise has been that some rooms can't be cluttered and some can.

Why? I don't have to replace it as often. I keep bedding for many years. My first bedding set, which cost me a lot but we got it when we got married and wanted something really nice, I think I used for wow, I don't even know, many, many years. A lot longer than the average person uses theirs. I think in over 18 years I have only had maybe 3 sets. I take good care of my sets. I don't buy cheap so I don't get cheap.

Sounds cheap to me if they only lasted 6 years apiece.

Based on my experience, I would agree.

We have seventy year old quilts on the twin beds in our guest room. The kids are constantly taking them off to use as afghans when they watch tv. One needs some repair now, but they've held up fairly well for three generations.
