1. Do you have any tattoos?

2. What was the last thing you bought?

3. Would you rather be behind the camera or in front of it?

4. Window or Aisle seat?

5. Have you ever had a poem or song written about you?

Your point? I couldn't care less where you get your decorating ideas, honestly.

Again, the more hours you work, the less you are getting paid as you work on salary, correct and no OT pay?

Well, if one is salaried (aka exempt) then the more hours they work, the pay does not increase.

Not to mention, the original salary is often based on more hours to begin with.

I have about seven meetings on my calendar for next week. Two are meetings where my presence is desirable but not absolutely necessary, although the outcomes of the meetings might not be what I would like if I missed. One is a training meeting that will go on whether I show up or not, although it is my job to learn this new system and explain its implications to the rest of the depatment. Two are with prospective grad students. I could delgate these meetings either up or down if I had to, but since it is really my job to meet with prospective grad students, I really can't do that delegating without good cause. One meeting is with a current first year grad student whom I supervise to plan her program of study. If I could not be there, we would have to cancel the meeting.
