1. Do you have any tattoos?

2. What was the last thing you bought?

3. Would you rather be behind the camera or in front of it?

4. Window or Aisle seat?

5. Have you ever had a poem or song written about you?

Just because you don't use something does not mean it is clutter. I HAVE posted pictures before. The things I got bashed for was 1 PM and a shell motif in my bathroom-lol!!

Nope I never said that. I explained what I consider clutter. I even told gesc. that I didn't think her collection was clutter either. A "mess" of things all over the place not organized and neat is clutter IMO. W

Well yes, you think tons of pillows that have be moved twice daily to make room for the ones that you do use isn't clutter and that's clutter...things that you don't use that are taking up space where you need to use other things.

I get it, you want everyone to confirm to your way of thinking and I'm just going to have to say again, no thankyou.

Why would you rather have to take time out of work? I am glad that I have many options. I understand many others do not though. I usually make my appointments early Sat. or Sun. mornings so it doesn't affect the rest of the day. Never found a reason to have to make them during work hours unless they were my dd's whose drs. and dentist only work certain hours. One is only every 3 months and the other every 6 weeks so it is not that bad though.

One minute every.single.night. How long does it take to put them back? How long to *unset* your table, to reset it so that you can actually use it? All of those one or two minute activities add up over time.

And back again, times 365 is a lot of time that I would rather use elsewhere, but I do understand that it's just a different way of thinking.

I'm in total agreement, I wouldn't set up a system that required my constant moving off and then back in the everyday regular living spaces.

I do not understand the constant one-upmanship here. Different people have different needs, different preferences, different lives. We are all fairly intelligent women, fully capable of designing homes, schedules, and lives that suit our own parameters. If you prefer a spartan look, have at it. If being surrounded by pillows and tschochkas makes you happy, by all means indulge. There is at least one poster here whose mision on the board seems to be to prove that compared to her life, everyone else's life sucks. That sort of platform always comes across looking desperate at worst, absurd at best.

Worth repeating....as egd says from time to time, difference is beautiful.

I would agree that it is regional...
