1. Do you have any tattoos?

2. What was the last thing you bought?

3. Would you rather be behind the camera or in front of it?

4. Window or Aisle seat?

5. Have you ever had a poem or song written about you?

Again, it's obvious that she doesn't have experience in this area.

Why is that relevant?

I know of at least one company (I'm sure that there are many more) who pays their employees based on a certain number of minimum hours, and for a certain *shift*. While there is a bit of flexibility (they earn comp time instead of getting paid overtime), hours missed need to be made up. There is an expectation that the person will work for the hours that they're shift is scheduled.

We also experienced this years ago, when dh worked for a city entity that opperated like this. He was expected to work from 9 to 5, Mon through Fri. But, when there was work that required he put in time outside of those hours, he would get hours (or days, depending on the circumstances) of comp time in exchange, and would be required to take time off during the week. If he randomly took time off, then he used sick or vacation time, or *owed* comp time.

some placemats are really cool, my trouble with them is they always need to be washed because they get dirty easy, Lol. i do save fancier linens for special occassions/holidays or when we have company over.
