1. Do you have any tattoos?

2. What was the last thing you bought?

3. Would you rather be behind the camera or in front of it?

4. Window or Aisle seat?

5. Have you ever had a poem or song written about you?

Oh, I am sure many people who have stuff like center pieces would consider it a point of pride not to have stuff from Ikea. But Scandis tend to be unpretentious, like Ikea, and if you know what to look for they have some really good deals.

um, of course its something deeper. but i thought we were talking about appearances and shows like "hoarders", i don't think that deserves air time. or do you think that show helps people recognize their problem so they can get help?

Doubtful it helps those who actually suffer from hoarding (directly, as the hoarder).

I think they make placemats that aren't really washable now. I got a beautiful set as a wedding present, but they were dry clean only. It made no sense to me.

You must have rowdy dinners. We manage to keep it upright, despite two kids 5 and under and two clumsy adults.

I love ikea. I just bought one of their square Expedit bookcases and baskets. I love it!

I got a lovely set of placemats, napkins, and a table runner as a gift recently. They were perfect colors for our home, and I really looked forward to using them until I noticed that the runner & placemats were dry clean only. So I used them until they were dirty, tried to clean them up at home, and ended up throwing them away after a few month. I sold the napkins at a yard sale. I am also looking for a few new afghans/throws to replace a few that have gotten shabby after many years' use, and am finding a lot of them that I like are dry clean only. Sorry, no. I spend about a hundred bucks a month at the dry cleaners/laundry already; I am certainly not interested in uping that bill because of table linens and afghans.
