LOL, no that seems quite silly. I have cotton ones and they get washed more or less daily. We have a pile, so that there are enough for rotation.

Yes, I just got myself an easychair there. It was something like 120 bucks. You can't really beat that price.

I get my dish towels and throw rugs there as well. They have really nice, old-fashioned dish towels in blue and white at some insanely low price. The cotton throw rugs are great for kitchen bath and balcony, because they can be washed easily. Finally, there are the bed linens, so check them out next time you go for napkins.

With very few exceptions, if you get a set which says dry clean, you should still be able to wash it, but it has to be in cold, on gentle and hung dried.
