1. If you own a home, do you have your homeowners taxes in your mortgage or do you pay separately?

2. Do you do anything for St. Patrick's Day?

3. What is one of your guilty pleasure TV shows?

What do I owe an apology for, the illegal apartments in her area?  I don't live there, I don't have an illegal apartment and if I knew one, I would report it to the authorities.

How would you know if one was an illegal apt? Please do tell.

<<Yep, of course, because you know, NO ONE in her area has illegal apts BAER. >>

We don't have that problem in my area, no.  There is affordable housing in my area.

<<It is her M.O. to answer something with an attack but if we defend ourselves WE are wrong. >>

That is not true.  Illegal apartments is one of the reasons that property taxes rise, this is not an attack, it is a logic and facts.  I don't know why one would consider logic and facts to be an attack, why do you ?

At least there's value in your area.  No, Nobody is immune to illegal housing and public housing is on the rise, so will the risks be.

It's really simple.

You have two families living in one house, only one family is paying taxes, the legal residence.  If both of those two families have children to educate, the single tax doesn't cover the expenditures of both families.  Further if an area is mostly residential, with high property taxes that force illegal apartments, the problem can be extensive. Also, a mostly residential area would generally have a lack of commerical property to add to the tax base.

Jams, there is value in lots of areas and nobody said they were immune to anything.

Nope they are not. Funny thing...I was watching House Hunters at lunch and there was a couple buying a home in a town of someone who posts here. The houses were $80,000. Goes to show you what some people consider a "good" place to live. There is a reason WHY a house is THAT cheap.

That was not my question. How do YOU know if it is an illegal apt as you said you would report it?
