1. What is one thing that worries you right now?

2. Does the weather by you think it is fall/winter/spring or summer?

3. How is your calendar for October? Slow, medium, busy?

Another good point, SAH gives me the time to get my kids places and do things.  Not too incredibly busy.

So true.  It's the gas and the deleterious effect on the environment that are so troubling.  Simple and better planning could've prevented such waste.

As far as I can tell, the only people to be pitied here are those small-minded enough to assume that a life that differed from the one that they've crafted for themselves is pitiable. I can't imagine what it would be to have to go through life with such a narrow perspective on the world. Personally, I'm pretty sure everyone here is reasonably satisfied with her life. As it should be.

I am pretty satisfied, life is good.  Thanks.

"I am pretty satisfied, life is good. Thanks." Yes, I imagine most of us could say the same thing, which is why it is pretty funny To watch a. Bunch of presumably grown women playing tis "your life must suck" game.

Except of course watching children perform in marching band isn't really the same as drop off/pick up of a child taking a test.  Unless you are saying that you would sit and watch a child take the psat?

Aha. The difference is that I'm actually attending the marching contests (I'm a chaperone for the out-of-state contest).  Marching practice doesn't drive me crazy - I don't go.  But the contests do, as I plan to attend all of them this year.  I'm choosing to do so, so it's voluntary busy-ness, but busy-ness all the same.

And, BTW, it's both kids in marching band this year.  Luckily, since The Girl drives, she carts The Boy around to rehearsals.   Next year though, it will be back on me and dh  ... uck.

So a sahm is not busy, rather a very lite and inactive situation.  Interesting.
