1. What is one thing that worries you right now?

2. Does the weather by you think it is fall/winter/spring or summer?

3. How is your calendar for October? Slow, medium, busy?

And typically Marla left the building.  She must be stressfully busy.  And that's a big no-no. Wink

 Drop-off/pick-ups are fun, fun, fun."

I guess that is some people's idea of fun as you can easily see from the Wild and Crazy thread that was barely touched.

<<If I had to, I could depending on the situation but again, I would be BUSY at that time. Sometimes things just don't work out either so it could be possible I could NOT "make it work" to do something with someone else.>>

It depends but if you are still talking about the context of pickup up and dropping off, unless it's out of town, I don't see a situation where it can't be adjusted.

<<And? I never said waking up to watch her off makes me busy. Did I? Please show me as your quote does not say that at all.>>

It was on your monthly list of busy things, it was actually first on the list,  turns out that it's not a busy thing for you?    Its your very first post in this thread.  How does your dd swimming make you busy when you just wake up to take her and now you have changed your mind in saying that it's not busy?

<<Nope, I am saying I am busy because I have something to do.>>

Yea, lol...like waking up.  ;)

Savcal has left the building too.  She's at work but doing routine things, so she's NOT busy.  See the distinction?

Well, I'm off to run errands.  But they are not routine errands.  So I AM busy. Wink

<<So you really don't understant that because YOU won't be dropping off/picking up. Gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up.>>

We have other drivers and cars in our house so I won't be driving to this one test, no.  Now how you get that since I am not driving this time to school and back that I don't understand the whole driving to school and back thing is a little, well....odd.  That is not sound logic on your part.

I never said that so don't put words in my mouth. You mentioned this one test, nothing else.

<<Yes I do because I can not doing anything else at that particular time. I will be busy from the time I leave work today to the time I get to the high school so if someone asked me to meet them at that time, I would have to say I am busy. >>

OH see, I can talk to people in the car...I can make a stop on the way home to pick up things and people, drop off things and people.  If someone wanted to meet me at that time, I would suggest a different time or leave work early.

AND.....did I ever say I couldn't? Sigh......

<<Again, I was told that what I had on my list did not qualify for being busy. >>

No, it was said that others wouldn't consider it busy, for a variety of reasons.

And I do because it is considered under the universal definition of busy.

<<Doing anything but nothing IS being busy.>>

Well earlier in the thread you said everyone had a different idea of busy....why are you making us go by your very limited and not logical definition?

Yeah, doing one thing or a million. NOT NOTHING.

OH see...we have more than one car and more than one driver in our family.  :)

Sigh...so do we. Your point?

Stop it now, that is NOT considered busy. It is considered fun and just a routine. Undecided

<<Why do I NEED (call caps shouting and everything!) to be there?

How do I know. That would go from individual to individual and their lives. Maybe your dh is working or away on business or away with friends.>>

Then why do you say that I did, even shout it in all caps?  Why did you make that up?

<<If no one else could bring/pick up your child, how could you easily do something else at that time?>>

Interesting you are introducing a totally different situation...but hey, I'll play your make believe game.  Thankfully the high school is close so I would simply adjust either the pick up - drop off time or adjust the time I'm meeting with friends.  This is rocket science.

Really? Why not?

Waking up was on my monthly list?

How does your dd swimming make you busy when you just wake up to take her and now you have changed your mind in saying that it's not busy?

Again, if I am driving, I am busy. Sigh....knock knock..is anyone home?

<<Nope, I am saying I am busy because I have something to do.>>

Nope, never said that.

I think we found it interesting because there are others of us who have kids taking the psat test and it was confusing as to why you considered a test that a kid was taking to be busy for you.  It's not even busy for my kid!  LoL
