1) How long is your typical summer season?

2) What is your favorite thing about summer?  Least favorite?

3) If you could do anything you wanted, right now, this very moment (money is no object) what would you be doing?

1. I count "summer" as hot as hell at night. So mid-June through August.

2. Strawberries, sleeping in, concerts. Heat, humidity, the smell of rotting garbage cans, yard work. Did I mention the heat?

3. I'd be treating my family to brunch at the restaurant in the Eiffel Tower.

What does this mean?  Without knowing more, I'd have to say 3 months, just like all the other seasons.

2) What is your favorite thing about summer?  Least favorite?

Summer is no different for me than any other time.

3) If you could do anything you wanted, right now, this very moment (money is no object) what would you be doing?

Sleeping.

1) How long is your typical summer season?

The heat and humidity start to creep in around the end of March and it lasts till the end of October, sometimes well into November.

2) What is your favorite thing about summer?  Least favorite?

Favorite: Swimming with the kids after dinner instead of cracking down on homework.

Least favorite: the heat

3) If you could do anything you wanted, right now, this very moment (money is no object) what would you be doing?

Floating on a lazy river.

1) How long is your typical summer season?  mid May to mid August.

2) What is your favorite thing about summer?  Least favorite?  I like that it's warm and sunny, and everything is much more laid back.  I don't like the mosquitos.

3) If you could do anything you wanted, right now, this very moment (money is no object) what would you be doing?  Sit on my front porch with a good book and a mojito.

1.  I do not know exactly what you mean by that.  If you are talking warm enough for summer wear (shorts etc) that usually runs from mid March until Oct.  With occasional streaks of warm weather all year.

2.  Now that I am an empty nester summer has less of a significance.  I like the fact that with school out traffic is lighter.  Also like the extended daylight.   Cannot think of a bad thing.

3. Cure cancer.

Why do you take something meaningful, supportive, from the heart, and turn it into crap? And you wonder why you are *attacked* on this board?

But you know what? I don't give a flying fruck what you think of my post. Empty knows that she has my whole-hearted support for her family. And that's what matters.

I am sure she knows and I dont mean any harm to HER or her family. Your post was extremely immature for the mature, professional you "claim" to be.

I'm a professional at work. But I'm not just an employee.  I'm also a real person with a heart, a sense of humor, and a sometimes silly nature.   The fact that you took this and are turning it into something negative speaks volumes about your character.  And this will be my last post on this subject because I refuse to taking something loving and meaningful and turn it into the muck that you are creating.
