In honor of the other thread, and the weeke
nd:

1. Where have you been? How many US States? Outside of the USA?

2. If, on your next two week vacation, you had to go back to someplace you have already been, where would it be?

3. Is there any place you would not rturn to, and why?

4. Where in the USA would you like to go next?

5. Where outside the USA would you like to go next?

Yep, we had to get passports for our cruise 2 years ago. The one we went on 4 years ago, we just used our drivers license for ID.

Our original plan was to take the bike and go across country when the girls were teen/adult. Dylan put an end to that dream. The bike got sold and dh is now too old to take it up again. At almost 58, his reflexes aren't where he wants them to be for safe driving on a bike. If we had kept the bike and he had continuous driving experience on the bike, we probably would have done it by now. I'm pretty sure that we will never go now. Life has had a habit of getting in the way of that dream.

I admit, I'm not very well traveled.

Multiple places, about half the states and I have been outside the USA to Canada, various countries in the Caribbean, Mexico and Europe with multiple trips to Europe.

I would go to Europe, it's a great time of year to be there and I haven't come close to seeing all that I can see there.

We really enjoyed it and the whole area.

I liked the area a lot, but I was underwhelmed by Mt Rushmore itself. I remember thinking I could have just bought the postcard and saved the trip, because it is one of the few places on earth where seeing it in person, at least to me, added nothing to the experience of seeing the pictures of it.

1. Where have you been? How many US States? **In the US, I've been to many so it's easier to say that I have NOT been to Oregon, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Michigan, Arkansas, Mississippi, Nebraska, Vermont and Alaska.

Outside of the USA? **Mexico, Canada, most of Western Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali

2. If, on your next two week vacation, you had to go back to someplace you have already been, where would it be? **That's a tough one because there are so many places I want my kids to see. I'd want to take them to Italy and Greece (dh has never been to Greece so I'd tack that on). If I could add a third week, I'd probably instead do a 3-week driving tour of the US like dh and I did when we first got engaged.

3. Is there any place you would not return to, and why? **Probably Bali. Mainly b/c it's so far. If I'm going to spend that much time traveling to get somewhere, I'd want to go someplace I've never been. Truthfully though, Bali is an amazing place.

4. Where in the USA would you like to go next? **Gosh, so many choices. I'd like to take my kids up to Maine or upstate NY to the Adirondacks. Well, that's if you are talking of at least a week of vacation. For a quick weekend trip, I hope to get the kids to Williamsburg/Jamestown this fall/winter.

5. Where outside the USA would you like to go next? **I don't know about "next" because where we would choose would depend on how long we have and how much we want to spend. I want to take the kids to Europe but that probably won't be for a while. We'll probably do a trip up to Canada again in the next couple of years. In my lifetime though, I really really want to go to Africa and S. America.
