In honor of the other thread, and the weeke
nd:

1. Where have you been? How many US States? Outside of the USA?

2. If, on your next two week vacation, you had to go back to someplace you have already been, where would it be?

3. Is there any place you would not rturn to, and why?

4. Where in the USA would you like to go next?

5. Where outside the USA would you like to go next?

One day we will find out the name of the mystery island. It would be funny if it is the same place where my uncle's house is. Anyway, we are waiting for you. ;)

We had a conversation about the island. It's not the same as your uncle's but I can't remember the name. If you said it, I'd know it. It's just not coming to me right now!

Ah, I just looked up a list of the Greek isles so this wouldn't drive me crazy all day. It's Spetses.

Oh cool! Spetses is really great actually. It was quite the "in" spot in the 70s, in part because it is very close to Athens (about 1-2 hours by dolphin). In the old days, it was a big trading port with many wealthy ship owners. One of the heros of the revolution (against the Turks) was from there. Her name was Bouboulina (nick name) and she went into battle with several ships that she owned. One of dd's friends is descended from this lady, and the family still has one of the family houses, which is quite an amazing place to visit.
