This is our first (and last) weekend in forever in which all four of us will be home.

there is not much on our calendar this weekend, DH has already told me that he needs to go into the office for a little tomorrow morning which means that (the girls and) i will probably be the only one taking DS to soccer. the girls don't have anything going on that i know of but DD1 is known for asking if she can have a friend over to spend the night or spend the night at a friend's at the last minute too, Lol! tomorrow afternoon is mass so we can get back into the routine of R/E on sunday morning, we were spoiled last weekend because the class was cancelled (the religous ed calendar follows the school calendar and we were off for cols day) so we got to save our obligation for sundays, and i like going to mass on sundays best. sunday afternoon my daughter has horseback.

Tonight, DD has to make an appearance as the black sheep to advertise the local production of the Nutcracker at the Arts Walk event we have every year in my town. Tomorrow, we are going to family farm day held at the University's farm. Then, we're taking the kids up to my parents house, while DH and I go to a local Indian restaurant for their Diwali buffet. Sunday, I'm probably going to be working on the pants I need to sew for one of the dancers in the Nutcracker. It's going to be a busy, busy weekend.

Tonight we have no plans or activities. I'm making a fall dinner w/pumpkin chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Tomorrow is crazy hectic. Dd12 is going to an all day conference that has math/engineering activities to encourage girls interest in those fields/careers. My other three have soccer games throughout the day and none of them are home games. Our school fun fair is also tomorrow so we'll try to make it there if we can fit. Shortly after we get back from the last game, we are going to a fundraising dinner (formal) and dropping dd12 off with her teammate for her soccer game that we have to skip. My parents are taking the kids out for dinner and will babysit them.

Sunday, not so busy. I need to fit in a 10 mile run as I'm training for a 1/2 marathon. Ds10 has a lacrosse meeting and game. Nothing else other than going to Mass. Will probably finally figure out what my kids are doing for Halloween costumes and maybe go to the pumpkin patch.
