Oh, there's so many!

It's common for us to respond to any type of dumb move or clumsiness or bad joke with "Dork!"

"I'm smelling what you're stepping in...I'm pickin' up what you're puttin' down." (I understand, I get it, I agree)

The big kids have been gone for a week...I'll think of some more after they've been home for a while ;)

"It's winter, eh!" anytime one comments that it is snowing or cold.

We have also pulled the "They're your kids" on each other. To which the reply is "You can't prove it without a DNA test".

LIza and I are fond of saying " whoa--- harsh toke dude!" when one of us gets in a particularly good sarcastic slam against the other -- it has gotten us a few looks in the grocery store.

Liza's new favorite is "of ALL the mothers in ALL the world I HAD to get THIS one"

we also use "GEE? YA THINK?" quite a bit

"If gay Americans are not allowed to get married and have all the benefits that American citizens are entitled to by the Bill of Rights, they should get one hell of a tax break. That is my opinion,"

- Jeane "Dear Abby" Phillips, in an interview with Lisa Leff.

Yes. We. Did.

One my kids don't get but I still think is funny, "Oh, okay, I'll just go in the back and pick some more money off the tree."

And sadly, "They will kick you out of kindergarten if you keep doing that."

"You'll survive the experience"...usually said by me to the kids. Unfortunately, ds has figured out how to turn that around on me. Anytime he wants to do something I have said no to (in particular, watch movies I consider to be inappropriate) he tells me "but I'll survive the experience!". Sigh.
