With all this talk about dieting and snacking, I am wondering how everyone eats. I am trying to eat small meals and not eat late.

Here was my schedule:

1. Cinnamon graham crackers for breakfast, water to drink

2. Snack: cinnamom graham crackers

3. Lunch: Roast beef wrap with a coke

4. Dinner: Baked ham, 2 rolls with butter, mashed potatoes w/out gravy and fried squash.

Okay, I'm pregnant. This is what I ate (god, scary!!)

1. 1 egg sandwich on whole wheat with cheese and mustard. 1/2 Sunkist soda

2. cheese-its

3. Healthy Choice frozen lunch

4. bowl cereal

5. chicken, sweet potatoes, yellow squash and 2 small corn muffins

6. jello

and at some point I finished dd's grilled cheese.

Today, I had the same egg sand and a bowl of cereal (already!) and I could eat again. I could eat always, I think!

But, I do drink a ton of water (about a gallon a day) and when I'm not pregnant, I am always diet-aware. Too aware!

Yesterday:

7:30 - 8:00 AM - Coffee (2 Points)

9:30 - Yogurt with Kashi Go-Lean added in. (2 pts)

11:00 - Banana (2 pts)

12:30 - Campbell's Tomato Soup (2 pts)

2:00 - Baked Lays and a Diet Vanilla Coke (2 pts)

3:30 - A few orange slices (from a friend) and a Pear. (1 pt)

5:30 - Worked out at Curves (+ 3 activity points)

8:30 - 2 bowls of homeade Tomato Rice soup with broccoli (6 pts)

10:00 - Curves Shake with banana added in (6 pts)

I eat a lot of 2 point foods it appears. Today was a little odd in that I needed to go to the grocery (The space between Curves and soup), hence the chips out of the vending machine at work. I also drink 6-8 glasses of water throughout the day.

I know you didn't ask for a critique, but if I may?

lets see if I can remember......

breakfast-yogurt, green tea, whole wheat bagel with low cal margarine spread (the kind with no trans fats!)

snack-cheese stick

lunch-half of ds' hot dog that we ate in the car on our way to preschool, LOL. We had an appt and were running late, stopped at a vendor

snack-wheat thins

dinner-greek salad, rice, pan fried rockfish with a lemon garlic caper sauce I made.

a cup of herbal tea before bed

Oh and I am trying to hydrate because I am running a big race in less than a week, so I drank a large sports drink and lots of water over the course of the day.

I was thinking the same thing. A whole grain cereal (or 100 percent whole wheat bread) along with some fruit would have been a better breakfast. And maybe something like some carrot sticks (I eat them with salsa rather than dip!) for a snack. And steam the veggies at dinner rather than frying. And no soda (or at least diet like you said).

Breakfast: All Bran w/ bananas, a glass of orange juice, decaf tea

Breakfast #2 (yep, I'm a hobbit): Carrots & hummus

Snack: Fresh pineapple slices & hot cocoa (made with MILK - YUMMMMM!)

Lunch: Egg salad sandwich w/jalepeno chips (SO GOOD) & cherry soda

Dinner: Peanut butter crunch cereal w/strawberries

Dinner #2: Blackberries (real ones! YUM!), Yogurt, & Chocolate covered raisins

Edited to add:...that I forgot the (what seems like) GALLONS of water I drink every day b/c I'm pregnant. I wonder if I'll keep up that habit after the baby arrives?

Do you like that Kashi go lean??? I tried it once and I thought it tasted like....well...dog kibble with some cardboard mixed in, LOL.
