What to do for Valentine's Day?

I'm at a loss ... I did such a WOW! Christmas present (thanks suzymom) and I have a WOW! birthday present lined up .. but what do I do for BF for Valentine's Day?

Its hard because the message I need to send is so subtle. I can't go out and out "You're the love of my life" or "I'll love you forever" stuff .. but I don't wany cheesy or corny or anything .. and I also dont' want it to be "like" or "friendship" only ...

And to top it off .. His real name is Valetine William Sxxxxx, III. So Valentine's Day is HIS day, so to speak, lol. So I'd like to play off that ...

Why don't you take the bull by the horns so to speak (HA HA) and initiate and nice evening out if possible?

I sincerely appreciate the thought .. and its a good one .. but not for us. We go out all the time, lol. We did the whole theater/dinner thing last week, etc. So that wouldn't be unusual for us.

And I'm pretty sure I *do* have a babysitter already; I put my college girl on standby. I'd really like for my kids to be with my parents, so I have my house to myself and I'd make him a WOW dinner. But I'm already gonna be relying on my parents for a couple of upcoming weekends (conference to Dallas) and I just cant' ask them right now. *sigh*

I hope things with you and your dh get better .. let me know if you need to vent or whatever. (I'm not going to offer to give you advice ... after all, I screwed up my marriage! lol)

I'm going to steal some space to find out what you think of this.

DH's band is playing at a local pizza place on V-Day. (They even make heart-shaped pizzas). I just had an idea to go that night and conspire with the other band members to do something for him.

At first I was thining of some type of delivery, but then I thought about singing "My Funny Valentine" to him. I've never really serenaded him before and I've never sung something like that solo in public. (Church music yeah, but not popular type music in public like that.) I might even be able to get the other band members to accompany me.

What do you think?
