I will do the same thing, if I'm home....just eat a smaller portion (of leftovers) for lunch than I would for dinner.
I agree that our leftovers are often too heavy for lunch.

It varies.
l almost always eat lunch at home unless I meet dh or friends out somewhere for lunch, but that's only once every few weeks or so.
I usually have leftovers or I'll make a turkey sandwich w/avocado, baby spinach, tomato and cheese on either a whole wheat tortilla or whole wheat sandwich thins.
I rarely go out, but will meet friends out once in a while.
