Pot? There is a gaggle of teens who often sit and smoke pot around the corner from my house. Pot is expensive and a bad idea, so that seems like a definite waste.
Maybe gadgets come next on the list. They do seem besotted with the latest gadgets, but then many adults are the same way.
Other than that, most teens I know don't smoke pot and are pretty sensible.
I would say clothes of a particular brand, purchased because of the label, not the quality.

I don't know much about teens and their habits, but I'm still going to take a stab at it and say: phone apps.
I would agree with this.
Have you seen the commercials to text your name and your boyfriend's name to get your future baby's name? or find out whether you are a good love match? That has to be the dumbest way to spend money, and I hope nobody actually does it.
I haven't seen it,
thanks to the invention of dollar store/the dollar tree, i think alot of money gets wasted there.
