Yesterday I had brunch with several of my childhood girlfriends.

Our dd usually goes to sleep around 8:30-9 pm. My dh and I usually fall asleep just after 9 or around 10, depending how tired we are. My dh gets up around 5:30 and I get up a little after 6. My dd gets up around 7 usually. I get her changed and dressed then hang out with her for about an hour before the nanny comes and I leave for work.

< Do you feel you have ample *me* time, *spouse* time and *family* time?>

Sometimes, yes. Sometimes, no. A lot depends on what's going on at the time. If there's something out of the norm that I have to do, it cuts into me time. If my dh has to work long hours then it cuts into our time. In general, I'd say that we have "enough" time together, but it'd be nice to have more.

Our schedule, during the week, is as follows:

dh goes to bed by 8p. He works at 6a which means he has to get up at 445a. Dd goes to bed between 830-9 (technically her bedtime is 930 but she never makes it that long, lol), and she gets up at 7a for school. Ds and I usually get in my bed together at 830, read books for 15-20 min and then he falls asleep in our bed. I carry him to his room about 9 and watch tv or read until 10-1030. I get up at 630 every morning (dogs wont let me sleep any later, lol) and ds wakes anytime between 630-730.

I am actually a nightowl, will stay up till the wee hours if I allow myself. But since I dont ever get to sleep in, I force myself to go to bed earlier. I work weekends, fri/sat nights from 5-11p and usually dont get to bed until 1230-1a. Luckily dh is usually home on weekends so he tries to let me sleep in and will get up with kids and dogs sat and sun mornings!

As far as getting enough time, I know I get plenty with the kids, and usually get enough *me* time (ds is in preschool 4 afternoons a week). Family time is usually reserved for Sundays. Dh and I used to NOT get enough couple time at ALL, but we have been working on that and now try to get out alone at least once a month.

The boys go to bed at 9:00, I'm usually in bed between 9:30-11. I get up three days a week at 6:00 and have to be to work at 7:00, and two days I get up at 6:30 because those are the days I take the boys to school and get to work at 8:30. DH and I get plenty of down time. As the boys get older, it's easier for DH and I to get downtime together. After the boys are in bed DH and I usually hang out in the LR either reading or watching TV. DH is a night owl and has very bad sleep habits. Some nights he doesn't get to bed until 2 a.m. and has to get up at 7, and some nights he'll fall asleep on the couch at 9, but then be awake at 1 a.m. and not be able to get to sleep again until 4. He doesn't have a set time to go to bed, and I think if he consistently went to bed the same time every night, he'd get into better sleep patterns.

I go to bed between 9:00 and 10:00. I am an early bird and get up between 5:00 and 6:00.

Don't know what time my DH and DD3 go to bed because it is after me. During the week DD3 gets up at 7:00 and DH between 7:00 and 7:45. On the weekends she usually sleeps in to about 10:00 and he gets up about 9:00.

The time before everyone gets up is my me time. I think that I get ample me time, spouse time and family time.
