Not only in terms of WOHM or SAHM....but think back to the high school you and what you wanted from life at what ever age you are now....how close are you?

"I'd like to think she'd approve of my husband, even though he was never a drummer in a rock band." -------- My first husband, the ex, was a singer in a rock band. Not exactly glamorous.

I had no plans for life when I was 16.  But looking back, where I ended up would have been no surprise to my 16 yo self.  Well, maybe for being married.  I wasn't even dating back then and had no real boyfriend or even crushes.  I probably had some expectation of being married back in my mind.

Roll, I'm pretty sure 16 year old me wouldn't have listened to a word of advice on the subject, regardless of its wisdom.

Was it fun?

"Was it fun?" ---------- Let's call it "interesting," but some of it was fun, especially in hindsight.

I think that for the most part my 16yo self would be pleased and would think it had turned out much a expected. Career is different than planned.y 16yo self would not have though I'd be divorced and remarried. And certainly would not have anticipated being without my dad.

Little Darlings was the first R movie I saw. When I was 9.

OMG, my 16-year-old self would have been horrified at my life now.  I was supposed to be a married special ed teacher who later quit to SAH when her 4 children started being born.

All of that started to fall apart a couple years later when, during the college application process, it hit me that there was no way I could ever teach anyone anythiing.LOL  My 16-yeart-old self knew nothing about me, obviously.
