I love it, but I love to play blackjack. The shows are great, too, and there are some great restaurants. My parents used to go every year, and they always asked me to meet them there, but I would never do it because I was sure I would hate it. One year they finally talked me into it, and I was hooked. It's an experience.

This will be my first time. My husband has a work convention and his boss was kind enough to book an extra weekend for all of the managers and their wives. My brother and his new wife have booked the same weekend, so we'll have great company to see the city with.

ha! I know ... but I haven't seen that baby since she was 6 weeks old. And she's 2.5 now!

Let me talk to dh and see if he's up for a Sav/bord/ah-huh/garnet (maybe?) lunch ...

HA! I know ... I'm stopping in Lincoln first to see VirgoGirl; will be staying a couple of nights with her. Then on into KC. And then through Lawrence on the way back for a very short visit with a cousin. I'll let you know what kind of time we'll have in KC once we get some more details settled ... :)
