What have you had for dinner so far this week?

Community Supported Agriculture. Basically, you pay a farmer up front for a share of the veggies they grow. So in February, we paid a farmer for a share and then went to pick up vegetables and eggs each week from the first week of June through the second week of October. We're doing another one now that comes in the mail from another part of the state. It started the first week of October and goes through the second week of November. This one is neat, because we've gotten some apple butter and pumpkin butter in addition to the vegetables. I wish we lived somewhere warm enough to do it year round!

Peapod has eggs for $1.99/dozen this week. It is still cheaper for me to buy at Costco though.

I was curious, so I checked the sale flyer. At the grocery store we normally go to, eggs are 88 cents a dozen this week.

It's probably more that different things have different prices in different areas.

Yeah, different prices and items in different areas. My mom could not get boars head cold cuts for the longest time and she can't get some different types of Ricotta too that we get.

Lets see if I can remember.

Basicly I just restock the fridge and pantry.

Why do you fix eggs for yourself, but feed your kids such high carb food for breakfast?

I admit, we eat cheap eggs.
