I'm impressed that you do a whole share. We do a split share, and our kids are older than yours. Our CSA does a winter share, but it's mostly root vegetables plus some stuff they grow in the greenhouse. I'm not going to even tell you how much our eggs cost from the CSA now that I've read how cheap they are elsewhere. But they're really good, and we don't go through a lot of eggs.

I'm about 45 minutes from the Western border of MD. I kind of wish we lived closer to the DC metropolitan area, because there are a lot more delivery options.

I didn't realize you were that far from here.

I looked into that dairy, but they didn't deliver in this direction. I'm about 3 hours from Frederick. We do get some farmers from Maryland at our farmers' market and offering CSA delivery, but they are usually located near Oakland, MD. I haven't found a dairy there, that delivers to Morgantown.

Kids should be eating a variety of things, just like adults. Adults need to watch more of what they are eating, especially after certain ages for many reasons.

My friend's yard is very small too.

Kids shouldn't be eating a bunch of empty calories and carbs either...

We have both Costco and Sam's, as well as BJ's, but Costco's stores are so nasty.
