1. What's on the menu this week?

A lot of grilled stuff. DH is on a roll. But tonight we are having stir fried chicken.

2. What was the last new recipe you tried or created?

Chocolate cheesecake

3. Favorite single ingredient use?

Hmm...I don't know. Chicken? I make a lot of dishes with chicken as the base

4. Lease favorite ingredient?

I don't know that either! I don't much like peeling and chopping garlic and crushing garlic but I love the taste of fresh garlic, so I deal.

5. Favorite meal to make?

My favorite meal to make is probably our mardi gras meal that includes a lot of cajun food and bread pudding.

6. Favorite holiday that includes food?

I like 'em all! We have a lot of food traditions associated with holidays.

1. What's on the menu this week?

Mon - greek chicken kebobs w/pasta salad
Tues - crab and avocado salad
Wed - Swim meet so I'll probably make sandwiches, pasta salad and fruit to bring with us
Thurs - grilled mahi mahi w/mango & white wine sauce, grilled zucchini and squash
Fri - probably pizza at the pool

2. What was the last new recipe you tried or created?

The crab and avocado salad that we are having tonight! We are using fresh crab that we caught off our neighbor's pier.

3. Favorite single ingredient use?

Garlic

4. Lease favorite ingredient?

Chopped onion - I love the taste but I hate how they hurt my eyes.

5. Favorite meal to make?

Too many to name - anything Italian but I also like to make Thai food

6. Favorite holiday that includes food?

I love pretty much all the holidays for different reasons! My father loves to cook so we usually have something new and different each holiday, except for Thanksgiving which is always the tradtional meal.

1. What's on the menu this week?
Lobster, Lobster and more lobster (gift from bil, a fisherman). Cod, too. It's a big seafood week, but we did have grilled steak and chicken on the 4th.

2. What was the last new recipe you tried or created?
Made a lobster bisque that went over well.

3. Favorite single ingredient use?
Garlic

4. Lease favorite ingredient?
Sugar and salt, I always use a lot less than recipe calls for.

5. Favorite meal to make?
Cooking is a chore, but I like to eat. Usually something simple (grill broil saute), though I do like making soups in the winter

6. Favorite holiday that includes food?
I guess Christmas, dh does the cooking and I do the baking.
