My Week has been completely thrown off by an emergency leave of one of my bosses.

How much I get done today is going to depend on how well my kids get along with each other today and how much I procrastinate today, LOL.

I have no way of knowing til I get there.

Monday, I had to include edits to the the House Telephone Console (and by "console" they mean a 3' by 2.5' telephone poster, with all the capitol hill phone numbers).

Today has shaped up to be one of my lighter days, but that doesn't really mean anything.LOL

My "work" today is to go to Staples and copy all the YDS's IEPs, test scores, evaluations....since 2nd grade and organize it into two 3" 3 ring binders.

Ha! Our intern program is *new* and our interns are....young. Oh yeah, that's another meeting I'm having today, that the boss doesn't know about yet. These kids need more direction. They rarely finish a project from start to finish without nine thousand and one questions.... and it's not in my job description to babysit these guys, lol. But, their supervisor doesn't come into the office until 1pm, so they just *hang out* all morning, being in the way and causing a distraction. I am ore than happy to pass off busy work to them, but often times, that's more work than just doing it myself (or I have my receptionist do it, b/c she can accomplish said task fairly easily, lol).

I am outlining travel city guides for Boston today, which means I'll do enough research to determine the angle to which I'll write each guide and nail down the subheadings. I'll write them over Thursday and Friday in between class. I prefer to take in the information and let it stew before I write.

I am impatiently awaiting the details on a new copy editing assignment that I've been offered, which means I'll be hitting "check mail" 150 more times before 17:00 GMT when the head office closes.
