I'm heading back to Ramona to the contract place for more sewing and cutting.

So far, I walk 4 miles 5-6 times a week, but with the fall weather I hope to increase it.

The main thing on my agenda today was a non-work item, namely finding myself some brown boots. I have a black pair that I love, but needed a brown pair to wear with certain skirts etc. After much searching I finally succeeded.

Work-wise, I have a few small items on the agenda, and I plan to take care of them now (7PM). I would have done it earlier, but I was napping : /

Where do you look up the pantones? I work with a printer who switched to pantone a while back, but we are only set up for CMYK. We rarely do color, so it is not that big a deal, but I was wondering.

You can buy a color swatch thingie at pretty much any office supply store, but you'll likely have to go in and specifically ask about it.

OK, I will look for one. I agree that matching on screen is impossible. Last time the production person basically matched the CMYK I gave her to an appropriate Pantone.

Typical day here. Took the kids to school then met my friends downtown and ran 7.5 miles. Got gas, stopped at Marshalls to look for shoes but didn't find any. Got a few sweaters/tops and some oxo bins for the pantry. Picked up a few things at Trader Joe's then headed home.

Checked and responded to email

Did two loads of laundry

Prepped dinner

Did several things on the computer - paid bills, ordered magazines for school fundraiser, looked at after school enrichment course schedule to see if I'm going to sign my kids up for anything, checked teachers' websites to update home calendar, ordered books for my 7th grader.

Need to work on an ad for the neighbor for whom I work part time.

Pick kids up from school including friend's son who needed favor. Will help them and my other son study for tests they have tomorrow.

Take ds and friend to soccer practice then go home and finish making dinner

Basically the same things I did yesterday and the same things I will do tomorrow-lol!!

No meetings this week. Not sure why there is such an emphasis on meetings though. To me they are mostly wasted time. They don't make me feel important that tell someone that I am in "meetings all day"-lol!! Many things, IMO can be phoned, emailed, im'd (or whatever you might call it at your work of business). I have a flow everyday so I don't usually have to meet with anyone to get anything done.

For dh and me, it is not a matter of feeling important, and we do use other means when possible. But we do a lot of sensitive stuff that can't be discussed on the phone. Email is not safe either, we learned.
