Our local Jewish congregation is quite small usually and they have a building that reflects it, but they often use the local Baptist church for services during the high holidays.

The link that I provided, from a catholic church, clearly states that the HEAD of that parish is referred to as PASTOR Tom. My personal expereince is not relevant, and I would appreciate it if you would stop asking me about it. Thanks.

IMe, in my Denomination, they are not "breakaway" because of unhappiness - they are seeds planted to grow the Denomination.

I think she is saying her church is different from pastors that have people who are addressed as "pastor" since the usual form of address for a Roman Catholic priest is "Father."
