For me: Michigan, Japan, Arizonia, North Dakota, Florida, Oklahoma (same place but two different times), Turkey and four different areas of Texas (San Antonio (twice), Wichita Falls, Lubbock and Austin).

I think they're all right too.

I keep wondering what part of genetics took a holiday with my son. He's *obviously* mine, don't get me wrong. But he's graceful (where I wasn't), healthy (where I wasn't), happy (I was a colicky baby), and just all around the most fun I've ever had.

My daughters and step-daughters are all joys, but my son is the light of my life. He could ask me for my still-beating heart as a toy and I'd pull it out and give it to him.

I'm boring!

Salt Lake City/Sandy, Utah..... birth to 18

Chicago, Illinois....College

Bloomingdale, Illinois......... 1996-1999

And Back to Sandy, Utah to be near my family, 2000-present

Would you believe that we actually moved back and now live less than 1 mile from where I grew up and 2 blocks away from my parents new home (we can see their roof line from our front porch). Isn't that the all out case for "sticking to your roots"?

How's this for stupidity? I read the post, and then the threads, and thought that you (phirefly) were responding that you were not a "sistah" as in African American (you know how some call each other sisters or brothers?). And I was thinking, jeez, why are you so freaked out that someone got your race wrong. Then I read the rest, and was so confused, and went back and read yours again........ RIGHT, RIGHT, the one on the RIGHT, learn your right and left, Laura. You are a guy, LOL! I always did wonder why you had a bearded smiley for your icon! Duh, I need more caffiene obviously.

Okay, lower my IQ on that survey another few points!

PS, your children are beautiful!

Texas - Houston, Lake Jackson, spent my college years in Nacogdoches. And that's it, except for some short-term (less than 6 month) stints in England and Malaysia.
