Try San Angelo, TX (no, not San Antonio); Center, TX; Tonopa, NV; podunk, can't remember the name, rural, Alabama; Tyler, TX; Guadaloupe, Texas; Greeneville, TX; Shreveport, LA; Texarkana, AR; Georgetown, TX; Austin, TX; Lubbock, TX; Waco, TX (are you seeing a pattern here yet?)
Basically, Texas is an enourmous state, and I have been all over it for work.
But hey, the Chinese restaurant at the San Angelo airport isn't half bad. And there are five brothels on the road between Las Vegas and Tonopa.
As a typesetter, I've traveled to Boston (that was a 6 week assignment and they put us up in corporate rental apartments across the street from Fanuel Hall (sp???) --that was a NICE gig), NYC (no apartments, but the Soho Grand is a really nice property; spent some time in Marriotts there, too (Financial Center and Marquis), but I prefer the SohoGrand, because their housekeeping staff understood the instruction "DO NOT DISTURB AFTER 10AM"), Atlanta and Philly. I'd return to any of those sites any day of the week. I'd also love to travel to our London office, our Singapore office and our Chicago office.
When I lived in Germany, the best trip I got to take was to Lake Chiemsee resort where a 2 week training was being held.
