Where would you cut?

With all this talk of cutting budgets in the air, I am wondering what options people have considered if their families were forced to cut expenses.  What changes in your spending would you make if you had to cut your spending by thirty percent?

Well, good luck with stopping that irresponsible spending, jams, if that's your problem. I never would've guessed it.

Jam, I am not sure what you are talking about with the $7000 expense figure, and I am not sure why you even started writing checks to people who took your money and ran, but if you ask me, you should stop that practice no matter how high or low your expenses.

No smart phone but we do have an at&t family package, I have to admit some of that is unnecessary spending.

If 7,000.00 were 30% of my expenses I'd stop writing checks to people that took my money and ran.

Oh and Jam while no job is 100% secure, we just got our yearly raise, got our personal day checks and profit sharing money. I am very lucky I work for a company that is growing and not have to cut many jobs or have furloughs.

Was that what the lunch date with your boss was about the other day?  That is awesome, Count your blessings!

"In or out of school, we should always be students"

Absolutely right. Never stop learning like my dad would say, Who knew I'd take that literally when I chose to return to school in my 40s, Lol.

It’s definitely the most-financially rewarding I've ever done. I Make money with Google. $85 an hour! I work two shifts, 2 hours in the day and 2 in the evening…And what’s awesome is I’m working from home so I get more time with my kids, I follow this great link,, Google.Fab17.com
