My goal at tax time is to be within $200-$300 either way. It has been a bit of a chore over the last few years because almost every year we have changes and have to try to figure out what adjustments to make over the next year to meet that goal. This last year we over with held so will be getting back a little over $1100.

We have a couple of trees that we have been talking about getting removed for the last couple of years. So we will be stimulating the pockets of a tree removal company.

We don't get much of a refund because we try not to give too much to the government in the first place. We come out either owing or getting back in the neighborhood of five hundred dollars. It will be gone before we notice it being there.

The faster I pay down my loans, the sooner I can become more of a consumer. So I'll be stimulating the economy, but in a much delayed fashion. My check is going toward paying down the principal.
