Yes I do and I agree they need to hear no, just not about everything.

My kids want cable TV, too. They're not getting it. They've made noise about every new game system that comes down the pike. They didn't get those, either.

I am not saying your kids aren't happy.

I don't think Lois or I said we say no to EVERYTHING they ask for -- we just don't say YES to everything they ask for LOL. Of course Liza gets special things for Christmas -- but she certainly doesnt' get everything on her list that's for sure..

I can't see paying for cable tv because the kids are so busy with school, sports, music, and other activities that they wouldn't have time to watch it much and it would be a waste of time, and I would rather have them doing what they are doing now than watching TV. Plus, a lot of what is on TV really doesn't agree with the moral principles I am trying to instill in my kids, so why expose them to that stuff if I don't have to? As far as the game systems are concerned, it just seems never ending, there is a new one out every other year that costs hundreds of dollars and half the times you have to get all new games because your old games don't work in the new one. No thanks. Not gonna take that train. Well, we might. I am actually thinking of actually getting them a WII this year.

The Wii does look cool and it is physical.
