I wasn't assuming anything. I chose the number "One hundred dollars" for purely illustrative purposes. It had nothing whatsoever to do with what you spend or don't spend. As in, "you' (hypothetical you, not "you" personally) can't both save and spend the same hundred dollars. I wasn't even talking to you.

No, people have suggested, over the years, hundreds of ways for you to cut back and save money. You just don't like any of the suggestions because they would involve you doing things differently than you do now, and you don't want to change. And unless you do change something, you can't save any more money. Which is fine, if you don't WANT to save any more money than you do now.

I understand that but it always is the "cable" thing with people who don't watch tv or don't have cable. I think people think of cable as paying for premium channels when we are not doing that. We have family cable which is just a set up from channels 2-13.


Since we don't travel alot and are home with 2 kids, tv and movies are important to us. I HAVE taken advice over the years and that is why we HAVE been able to save some money.
