Again, that's irrelevant. Even in your scenario .. if *I* was the one that live in the high COL area, I could still save money by not paying for cable .. or cigarettes ... or diet pepsi ... or manicures ... or newspaper delivery ... or ... or ... or

I've never heard of paper deliverers being tipped weekly. Usually around here, they are only tipped at holidays.

Actually it's not just $8 for cable, because last week I suggested that internet in your home is also not necessary.

No, I said if we had EXACTLY the same bills. Many people do spend approximately the same on things so it is not an unusual thing.

Really? They also usually get a tip at holiday time. On top of the garbage men, mailmen (women), UPS, etc.
