There were a few people on here who have said they don't watch much tv and I have been on the against tv (not sure correct name) debate here on ivillage.

When I go to Verizon's website and look up their "freedom" calling plans, which are actually more expensive than the calling plan we have, they are more expensive here than on Long Island (I used the zip code for East Hampton in Suffolk County). It was about $44/month for the Freedom value plan, which has both free local and free long distance in Morgantown and $39/month in East Hampton. Our plan is only free local calls, which I'm sure is also available on Long Island for less than $39/month.

I do not know East Hampton's zip code and I was trying to copy and paste but my computer keeps crashing on me. For my zip code it says, 99% sure, $43.99-$46.99 as the new rates starting December 1st. This is not including taxes so you are looking at, at least $60/month for your bill.
